What do the cities of future look like? How to design sustainable cities with high quality of life? Apply now to participate in Young Urban Leaders program as Espoo’s delegate.

The city of Espoo will sponsor one young person’s participation costs, travel and accommodation to participate in Young Urban Leaders program as part of the Urban Future conference. We are looking for an active Espoo-based young person aged 18-30 with ambition to make the city a better place. The Young Urban Leaders program is part of a high level event for sustainable cities and takes place in Oslo 22-24.5.2019  https://www.urban-future.org/

The Young Urban Leaders program includes workshops with international experts focused on fostering skills and knowledge crucial to young leaders, very personal fireside chats with political, community and business leaders, and the opportunity to bring your own ideas forward and benefit from the wisdom of the crowd – all of that on top of the extraordinary “regular” conference program of this year’s UFGC19.

If you are interested in joining the conference and agree to write/vlog your experiences in Espoo’s communication channels, apply at the latest on 9th of April. The chosen candidate will get a briefing in Espoo’s city planning and sustainability program. Please save your answers to the 3 last questions, as the chosen candidate will provide the conference organisers with her/his answers as well as a short video introduction. Espoo’s delegate will be chosen by mid April. We will inform the chosen candidate personally.
