For many senior citizens, grocery shopping will be a tough nut to crack in the coming weeks, and good ideas are now more than welcome!

Nestori – Guidance and Service Counselling for Senior Citizens and EJY ry, the society of Espoo-based organisations, have decided to join forces. Nestori and EJY are now organising volunteers to deliver food to those Espoo residents over 70 years of age who cannot turn to their personal support networks to get groceries.

Nestori will provide advice and instructions and send all requests for grocery deliveries to EJY’s Ruokakassi service. Ruokakassi (“bag of groceries”) will arrange for a reliable volunteer to help. The volunteer will bring groceries from the shop to the senior citizen’s home.

If you need help with groceries, please call Nestori – Guidance and Service Counselling for Senior Citizens, Mon–Fri, 8:00–16:00, tel. 09 816 33 333.
